We are pleased to invite you to participate in our 16th Annual Angola Summit ‘Developing a Roadmap for the Energy Transition’.
The summit will be held 18 & 19 October 2017 at the Skyna Hotel, Luana, Angola.
To ensure project success it is imperative that competitive financial incentives are introduced. Given the global competition for project funding and to ensure that exploration on both onshore and offshore blocks are attractive, it is important that Angola has attractive financial terms and conditions.

We are pleased to introduce two of our Key Speakers;
Dr Qi Chen, Director of Chiron AlkaTrans Technology, is a developer, practitioner, manager, and advisor in the oil, gas and petrochemical industry. He runs an consultancy from The Netherlands, with support from a worldwide network of experienced professionals with all disciplines. His consultancy focuses on the following key expertise areas:
Gas development master planning and project development, emphasizing midstream solutions
Process technology development, commercialization, transfer, and education
Qi has previously worked in a broad range of roles with operating and service companies. These included process technology, design and engineering, project development and management, contracting and sourcing, and business development. His career has taken him to a variety of locations including The Netherlands, China, Singapore, and Malaysia.
Dr Ken Seymour graduated from Leeds University, UK with a first class BSc honours degree in Mining Engineering & a PhD in Rock Mechanics. He has worked with major and minor E&P companies for over 35 years as Drilling Engineer, Drilling Superintendent, Drilling Manager, General Manager, Director and Adviser in the North Sea and on international assignments in China, Pakistan, Angola, Nigeria and Indonesia. He obtained an MBA in 1994 from the Aberdeen Universities and has authored twenty presentations on well engineering and upstream management.
It is our hope that this summit can help stimulate thought and be a catalyst for developing future scenarios for the energy sector.
